Nossy vs Siri
Siri is the assistant on the iPhone. Nossy does not replace it. Nossy is a secretary in the team's chat, and the shop record lives in a spreadsheet in your Drive.
What Siri is for
Siri is Apple’s voice assistant. It sets alarms, sends messages, plays music, and controls the iPhone with your voice. Apple has been folding newer Apple Intelligence features into it. For device control, it is the default, and it should stay that way.
Where it breaks in a chat-run shop
The phone is not the shop’s books
Siri can remind you to call the supplier. It cannot keep a workbook the whole team queries next month.
One person’s device
Siri lives on one iPhone. The evening shift has a different phone. The record has to live somewhere both of them can see.
No operations log
A voice note to Siri is not a dated row with a receipt photo in Drive.
What Nossy does instead
Nossy never tries to be the iPhone. It joins the chat, writes the row, and reminds the group. Keep Siri on the lock screen.
Siri facts on this page were checked against its public documentation on August 13, 2026.
What Nossy does not do
- Nossy works in LINE, Telegram, and WhatsApp direct chats. WhatsApp group chats and iMessage are coming soon.
- Nossy does not connect to your other software yet. Tool connections are coming soon.
- Nossy never messages your customers. It works inside your team's own chat, and it nudges your own people.
- Nossy does not replace a POS, a payment system, or accounting software.
- Nossy reads a spreadsheet you already have once, during setup, and only if you share it as anyone with the link. Day to day it sees the files it created or was sent in chat, so a file you drop into the Drive folder by hand stays invisible to it.
- The report pages Nossy builds are public links that last about a day. The workbook in your Drive is the durable record.
- Siri is free on every iPhone, works offline for many commands, and is the fastest way to set a timer or send a text with your voice. Nossy does none of that, and should not.
- Siri is available the moment the phone is in your hand, with no setup interview. Nossy is useless until a chat is connected, and during beta that starts with a call.
Pricing
- Plus is $20 a month with 4,000 credits. Pro is $40 with 8,000. Max is $100 with 20,000.
- One price per business. Your whole team chats with Nossy at no extra cost, because there are no seats.
- Credits measure the work Nossy does. $1 buys 200 credits. Plan credits reset monthly, top-up credits do not expire.
- There is no free plan. Nossy is in beta and we onboard teams by call.
Common questions
Do I still need Siri?
Yes, if you have an iPhone. Nossy is not a phone assistant. Keep Siri for the device. Use Nossy for the shop's shared record.
Will my staff actually use it?
Staff already talk in the group. They do not need to invoke Siri to log a delivery. They send a message. Nossy files it.
What does it cost compared to Siri?
Siri is included with Apple devices. Nossy is $20, $40, or $100 a month per business. You are not paying twice for the same job.
What happens to my data if I stop?
Siri is unaffected. The Nossy workbook stays in your Google Drive.
