Nossy vs Claude
Claude is a careful general assistant you open in a tab. Nossy is a secretary in the team's group chat, and it writes what happens into a workbook in your own Google Drive.
What Claude is for
Claude is Anthropic’s general assistant. It reads long documents, drafts careful email, and thinks through a messy problem without rushing. People who write for a living often prefer it. It has a free tier, a Pro plan, and Team plans. Nothing on this page argues you should stop using it.
Where it breaks in a chat-run shop
The thread is one person’s
The owner pastes yesterday’s deliveries into Claude and gets a clean summary. The morning shift never sees it. The record lived in a private conversation.
Staff will not open Claude mid-shift
Filing a delivery means unlocking a phone, opening an app, and typing into a new thread. The group chat is already open. So the delivery stays a message, then it scrolls away.
It does not own the workbook
Claude can talk about numbers you paste. It does not live in the sheet the shop actually runs on. Ask next week and you paste again.
What Nossy does instead
Nossy joins LINE, Telegram, or a WhatsApp direct chat. Staff say what happened. Nossy writes the row. A receipt photo is filed to Drive. Reminders fire in the same chat. The secretary is in the room the team already answers.

What Nossy does not do
- Nossy works in LINE, Telegram, and WhatsApp direct chats. WhatsApp group chats and iMessage are coming soon.
- Nossy does not connect to your other software yet. Tool connections are coming soon.
- Nossy never messages your customers. It works inside your team's own chat, and it nudges your own people.
- Nossy does not replace a POS, a payment system, or accounting software.
- Nossy reads a spreadsheet you already have once, during setup, and only if you share it as anyone with the link. Day to day it sees the files it created or was sent in chat, so a file you drop into the Drive folder by hand stays invisible to it.
- The report pages Nossy builds are public links that last about a day. The workbook in your Drive is the durable record.
- Claude is stronger at long documents, careful reasoning, and drafting than Nossy will be. For contracts, research, and anything that is not daily shop operations, keep using it.
- Claude has a free tier and a polished app on every device, with no setup call. Nossy needs a setup interview and a connected chat before it is useful, and during beta it onboards by call.
Pricing
- Plus is $20 a month with 4,000 credits. Pro is $40 with 8,000. Max is $100 with 20,000.
- One price per business. Your whole team chats with Nossy at no extra cost, because there are no seats.
- Credits measure the work Nossy does. $1 buys 200 credits. Plan credits reset monthly, top-up credits do not expire.
- There is no free plan. Nossy is in beta and we onboard teams by call.
Common questions
Can Nossy replace Claude?
No. Claude is a general assistant for one person. Nossy is a shared secretary for a team's operations. Most owners who use Nossy still use Claude for writing and thinking.
Will my staff actually use it?
They already use the group chat. Nossy joins it. There is no Claude account for the evening shift to create, and no new app on the counter phone.
What does it cost compared to Claude?
Claude has a free tier and paid Pro and Team plans (as of 2026-08, see anthropic.com/pricing). Nossy is $20, $40, or $100 a month per business, with the whole team included.
What happens to my data if I stop?
The workbook is a spreadsheet in your own Google Drive and it stays there. Claude's thread stays in Claude. They were never the same store.
