Nossy vs Martin

Martin is a personal Jarvis across phone, SMS, WhatsApp, email, and Slack. Nossy is a shop secretary in the team's chat, with a workbook in your Google Drive.

Short answer Martin is a personal assistant you can call, text, or email. It manages inbox, calendar, and to-dos for one professional. Nossy is a secretary for a shop team: the group chat, and a workbook in the owner's Drive, not an inbox zero product.

What Martin is for

Martin is a personal AI assistant you can call, text, email, or Slack. It reads Gmail or Outlook, drafts replies, schedules meetings, sets reminders, and can text or call other people on your behalf. It is aimed at busy professionals who want a Jarvis. That is a real product.

Where it breaks in a chat-run shop

Inbox zero is not a stock count

Martin’s best work is email and calendar. A cafe’s missing record is deliveries, cash, and who covered Saturday.

It talks to the outside

Martin can message other people. Nossy must not. Nossy only ever talks inside the connected team chat. Mixing those jobs is how a shop accidentally texts a customer.

One operator

Martin is built around one professional. A shop has a rotating staff who will never log into Martin.

What Nossy does instead

Nossy stays inside the team. It writes rows, files photos, and reminds the people who already sit in the group. Keep Martin if you want a personal inbox assistant.

What Nossy does not do

  • Nossy works in LINE, Telegram, and WhatsApp direct chats. WhatsApp group chats and iMessage are coming soon.
  • Nossy does not connect to your other software yet. Tool connections are coming soon.
  • Nossy never messages your customers. It works inside your team's own chat, and it nudges your own people.
  • Nossy does not replace a POS, a payment system, or accounting software.
  • Nossy reads a spreadsheet you already have once, during setup, and only if you share it as anyone with the link. Day to day it sees the files it created or was sent in chat, so a file you drop into the Drive folder by hand stays invisible to it.
  • The report pages Nossy builds are public links that last about a day. The workbook in your Drive is the durable record.
  • Martin can call you, text other people on your behalf, and sit in Slack, SMS, WhatsApp, and email. Nossy never messages anyone outside the connected team chat, and it does not make phone calls.
  • Martin has an iOS app and a web dashboard you can start from trymartin.com. Nossy is in beta and onboards by call after a setup interview.

Pricing

  • Plus is $20 a month with 4,000 credits. Pro is $40 with 8,000. Max is $100 with 20,000.
  • One price per business. Your whole team chats with Nossy at no extra cost, because there are no seats.
  • Credits measure the work Nossy does. $1 buys 200 credits. Plan credits reset monthly, top-up credits do not expire.
  • There is no free plan. Nossy is in beta and we onboard teams by call.
